I thought I'd post it here so I have everything in one place. :)

I really like the story and I wanted to do it justice by capturing parts of the story. This is my first time for something like this and I hope everyone likes it.

PICSPAM TIME!

*facepalm* I have done what I said I would never do. I started watching the Biggest Loser.

I always had a problem with the show because everyone seems so intent on the numbers. I'm not sure they are being the healthiest they could be, you know? Yes, if you work out 5 hours a day and eat only super healthy foods, you'll lose weight. Since when is losing 2-4 lbs a week not good enough? I thought 1-2 lbs a week was perfectly healthy.

Anywho, I started watching season 5 with the couples and got sucked in. After just a few episodes, I have totally fallen for Jillian Michaels. Why yes, I am a sterotypical lesbian, why do you ask? Perhaps I simply want to be dominated by an assertive woman, idek. I still adore the 30 Day Shred, but now I'm also following the newest season of the Biggest Loser and vaguely internet stalking her pretty, pretty self.

She is such an inspiration... I simply adore her. So far, this is my favorite quote I've found -

"When you get a flat tire, you don't get out and slash the other three tires, do you? NOOOO! You change the tire, then go on your way!

That's how it should be when you over-indulge, or skip a work-out, or have a crappy work-out, or any other thing in your life. Forgive yourself, change it or fix it, and go on your way."

How awesome is that? Such a great, simple way to look at things. She is my new fucking hero!

I've been on a bit of a photoshop kick of late. Sorry if you are one of the writers I've pestered into taking a header. If you are a writer and would like something story/fandom specific, I'd LOVE to work on it. I can't guarantee it will be any good, but I like to try.

Recently, I've been making headers, wallpapers and icons. These are of Danneel Harris, Genevieve Cortese, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, and Aldis Hodge. I'm not sure anyone actually wants them, but feel free to take. Credit is nice, but not required. Comments are love. <3

So, I'm cleaning house physically and metaphorically. I'm organizing all my crap and taking time to sort a bunch of stuff out. This shall extend that to LJ as well. I've decided to do a friend's cut. That was a truly great experience!

sadiane and I RSVP'd to go to the 7:30 showing at Hotel deLuxe. When we arrived at 6:15, we were told that it was full and we'd have to wait until 9pm. Bummer. But! It ended up working out for the better!

We decided to wait and hang out in line, so we got really great seats. Also, we had a fun time talking to the other people near us in line. :D

They started letting us in around 9:30 and gave each of us an 8X10 promo shot and had us go through the line to get the cast to sign it! They were all so nice! Gina, Chris, Aldis, and a few others I didn't recognize. Gina is adorably pregnant. Chris is VERY cute and will be performing at Dante's every other Sunday until the show raps up in September. Aldis is just an absolute sweetheart! I was told that Beth showed up soon after to sign as well. Before heading on, they gave all of us t-shirs that says Sometimes bad guys make the best good guys.




The screening room was small and intimate, with about 90 seats for us. There was a very nice spread of fruit, chocolate covered strawberries, and cupcakes for us and everyone was very accommodating. The cast came out to say hi and introduce the episode. It was great to see them all together. They really seem to like each other, which is why the show gels together so well, in my opinion. Aldis apologized for Timothy, saying he was not able to make it, but that he really wanted to be there. They thanked us all for coming and were just generally adorable.

The episode is AMAZING! I won't give away any spoilers, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

Afterward, we were told there was a surprise. Timothy showed up! Apparently, he was at the airport to see his son. He had just arrived and was happy to answer any questions with Chris and Beth. After about 10 or 15 min, Aldis joined them for some more Q&A. Timothy even agreed to stay longer to sign for all of us! (That is when I got Beth's autograph, as well). Aldis was great and taking pictures with fans. Really, he is one GOOD LOOKING boy.

All in all, it was a spectacular night and I'm so glad we got to see Timothy! Getting home around midnight was totally worth it! :D

Don't worry. A story complete with pictures about my lovely chair is coming! I just need to remember to take some pics when I have decent light. :D

So, new plan with filters. It seems like almost everyone wants on rl and tmi. :D This makes me happy. Anywho, since all my entries that aren't "artwork" (and yes, I do mean to use quotes) are locked anyway, all rl crap will not be filtered. However, since some people can be sensitive about TMI, those entries will be filtered.

So, as many of you know, sadiane is made of complete and utter awesome. I had mentioned that I wanted to find a decent pic of Mrs. Amanda Tapping on Due South, but I couldn't find one anywhere. In the first scene, she comes out of the shower in a blue button down shirt and nothing else. Wow, her legs go on for miles. :)
The next episode had Frasier in drag and I was whining talking calmly about how no one has pictures of him in his white shirt and suspenders, but still with the make up on. (He was changing in the back seat). sadiane got me a bunch of screencaps of both of those scenes and I thought I would share them with you fine folks. Without further adieu... *drumroll*
